Environmental sustainability begins with awareness, but meaningful change occurs when awareness is transformed into action.
On the occasion of World Environment Day 2026, the Environmental Club, Grand Asian University Sialkot, organized an Environment Awareness Walk and an International Research Seminar under the theme:
"Innovative Solutions for a Sustainable and Climate-Resilient Future"
The event brought together students, faculty members, researchers, and sustainability advocates to reaffirm a shared commitment towards environmental stewardship, climate resilience, and sustainable development.
The Awareness Walk highlighted the importance of individual and collective responsibility in addressing environmental challenges, while the International Research Seminar provided a platform for knowledge sharing, innovative ideas, and evidence-based discussions on building a more sustainable future.
As the National Coordinator for Universities in Pakistan under UI GreenMetric World University Rankings, Grand Asian University Sialkot remains committed to promoting sustainability education, climate action, environmental research, and community engagement aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
